Activities

Residents have a wide range of meaningful daily activities from which to choose.  Personalized individual and group activities offered including:  music, arts, crafts, bingo games, memory and reminiscent activities, church and school-led programs, theme parties monthly, along with many shopping trips and outings outside the facility.  Group trips are always available including:  shopping at the mall, watching movies, horse shows, bowling, fishing, sailing on the Southern Belle, seeing the fish at the Aquarium, and venturing to Pigeon Forge for Dollywood and the Black Bear Jamboree.

Our goal/program is to have our residents participate in as many community events as they can.  Their quality of life is enhanced; thereby decreasing depression and isolation and increasing motivation and socialization skills.  A facility-owned wheelchair-accessible bus is available for these outings.
